Dear Selection Committee, I am writing to recommend Mr. Sina Salajegheh for your program. I know Mr. Sina Salajegheh because he was one of my top students in physiology I & II. He is exceptionally intelligent and proved to be a very quick study and learning the elements of experimental design. Furthermore, his questions are always thoughtful and penetrating. Sina threw himself into his assigned projects wholeheartedly, and shows every sign of having real talent in physiology, especially in Animal welfare and behavior. Also he is exceptionally diligent and hard working. He worked many extra hours. I vividly recall coming into the lab late in the evening and finding him at work. Sina is very good at working with other people. He is exceptionally nice and considerate and sensitive. Additionally, he is going to prepare some manuscripts in order to be published in some papers in international congresses in physiology, neuroscience and Animal welfare and behavior. He followed through on his promise to do his DVM thesis on this area and write the manuscripts. This illustrates his high level of motivation. In short, I give Mr. Sina Salajegheh my highest recommendation, and very much hope that the committee judges his application favorably.
